What’s happening, then? When IS Coronation Street scheduled to air and why isn’t it on as usual?
Why isn’t Corrie on this week as usual?
This week, the schedule for Coronation Street underwent a little change, so it’s not always on.
It’s all owing to ITV’s coverage of the National Television Awards (NTAs) and the Rugby World Cup.
Emmerdale fans should pay heed as well since these important TV events have an impact on their favourite program.
There will be no Corrie (as usual) on television today, Tuesday, September 5. Instead, a double bill of Emmerdale will air from 7 to 8 p.m., followed by the NTAs till 10:30 p.m.
Emmerdale premieres at 7.30 p.m. tomorrow (Wednesday, September 6) before Coronation Street airs for an hour from 8 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Emmerdale will be broadcast for an hour from 7 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, September 7, and Coronation Street will also be on for about an hour starting at 9 p.m.
On Friday, September 8, things look a little different because there are no soap operas on at all and the Rugby World Cup takes up the majority of ITV’s evening schedule from 6.45 pm to 10.35 pm.
Set your reminders, or if you’re not free, catch up on the most recent soap opera developments on a streaming service.
