Our hearts are overflowing with joy when Misbah Maalik returns to Hollyoaks the following week.
The well-known character, portrayed by Harvey Virdi, has been missing from the program for a while because he left to live with his son Imran (Ijaz Rana) in London after his departure.
Meanwhile, Yazz (Haiesha Mistry) has been having difficulties in the community as a result of the revelation of her ectopic pregnancy.
The journalist found out she was pregnant early this year and wasn’t sure how she felt about it. However, husband Tom Cunningham (Ellis Hollins) was overjoyed at the prospect of becoming a father once more.
Yazz collapsed in anguish and was sent to the hospital, where she learned that her pregnancy was ectopic. However, the worst was yet to come, as a doctor warned Yazz that she would not be able to conceive naturally.
Tom immediately suggested adoption. However, Yazz wasn’t in the correct frame of mind because it was too early to make such a choice.
In later scenes, the pair was at conflicts, and Yazz said that she isn’t sure she wants to be a mother at all, which devastated Tom.
Though they haven’t finished the required duty, the couple will be shown getting ready to attend a marriage counseling session in the upcoming scenes. Meanwhile, Yazz is under pressure to do a presentation at work and passes out in front of her laptop, unable to complete the presentation.
The presentation date is then changed, which changes the course of events. However, Carter Shepherd (David Ames) advises Yazz to take the remainder of the day off and wants to speak with her in his office the following day.
Tom helps a frazzled Yazz, who later confides in Carter about feeling so worn out, with the head teacher advising her to take some time off to relax at home.
Yazz is shocked by the choice and lashes out at her loved ones as Misbah enters the room. Yazz acknowledges that her job was keeping her focused while Misbah attempts to encourage her to talk about her love for her daughter.
Then Misbah expresses her worries to Zain Rizwaan (Jonas Khan), but will they be able to assist Yazz who is in need?
