Months after her departure as Dotty Cotton, former EastEnders star Milly Zero has been cast in Doctors.
In the episode titled “The Stolen Child,” the 24-year-old actress will appear opposite Bharti Patel, who portrays midwife Ruhma Carter.
In contrast to what her EastEnders character would wear, Milly will play Lisa Gillespie, and photographs of the role show her sporting a white shirt and sweater.
recognizes Lisa as a young mother who will approach Ruhma for assistance in the episode.

Following her departure from EastEnders, Milly went on to work alongside actors Jonathan Hyde and Kerry Ellis from Hollywood in a theater production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream.
Just before Christmas of last year, Milly’s farewell moments aired after she announced her departure on Instagram a month earlier.

After three and a half years, she declared, “I’ve come to the conclusion that my adventure with the icon that is Dotty Cotton has come to an end.” I can’t even begin to express how fantastic and life-changing my time on EastEnders has been, or how much I am going to miss it.
After Dot Cotton (June Brown) passed away, Dotty hoped that Dot would leave her house to her in her will and was eager to get her hands on the money after selling it.
She reacted angrily and made an effort to set the property on fire when she learned that Dot had actually given the house to Sonia Fowler (Natalie Cassidy).
Rocky (Brian Conley) stopped her, but after realizing there was nothing left for her in Walford, she departed the Square.
