When Dev Alahan (Jimmi Harkishin) walks in on Courtney Vance (Stephanie Davis) kissing his 18-year-old son Aadi Alahan (Adam Hussain), he is in for quite the surprise in Coronation Street.
Once Aadi met Courtney and realized they connected, the possibility of becoming a PA rapidly became into a dream opportunity.
Since many weeks ago, Aadi and Courtney have been sharing beds. They often get together while Darren (Ryan Early) and Dev (Jimmi Harkishin) are in the middle of a different business meeting.
Aadi will describe his new girlfriend as attractive and intellectual in subsequent episodes, but Darren and Dev won’t realize that he’s actually referring to Courtney. What initially began off as a little fun has now developed into something more.
During their lunch meeting at the Bistro, Courtney and Aadi decide to leave again undercover.
Courtney and Aadi are interrupted while honing their tonsil tennis talents as Dev shows up!

Following the incident, when Dev and Asha (Tanisha Gorey) question how long Courtney plans to remain, she is conversing with an extremely enamored Aadi, explaining that she has successfully purged herself of Darren and that they can move forward.
By the end of the week, Dev tells Darren that he would speak with Aadi and persuade him to see reason in an effort to save the new Frescho agreement.
But will it succeed?
Ryan Early teased whether Dev’s future as a businessman is in jeopardy now that Aadi and Courtney’s secret has been revealed, saying that while Dev is a nice guy and doesn’t blame Dev, the reality is that his son is having an affair with his wife and carrying on daily business with a man whose son is having an affair with his wife is a humiliation that he’s not prepared to take.
He has put in too much effort to have to endure such disgrace. Although Dev needs him more than Darren does, Darren still believes that there could be a way for me to utilize Dev to my benefit. He’s vying for Darren’s company, so perhaps there’s a way he can use him to his advantage to assist his marriage—or not—survive.
