Fans of EastEnders have been anticipating Sam Mitchell’s (Kim Medcalf) homecoming ever since she left for Spain in April, but they might have to wait a little longer.
Sam stated that she had been given a position managing a hotel, so her journey to the sun wasn’t only for fun.
She was conflicted about leaving her son Ricky Mitchell (Frankie Day) behind once more, but she realized that doing so would be the best way for her to support the child he was due to have with Lily Slater (Lillia Turner).
Although recent scenes have refuted such rumors, many fans had hoped that the arrival of baby Charli would serve as the impetus for Sam’s comeback.
Ricky was visibly upset as Jack Branning (Scott Maslen) and son Ricky came at the hospital to see Ricky’s newborn daughter.
When Sam announced that she couldn’t return to the UK to see her grandchild, Jack then told Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner) that Sam was the cause of his terrible news.
Sam had instead sent a box of treats in her place, but Ricky didn’t think this made up for her absence.
We’re left wondering what would pull Sam back to Albert Square now that she’s not going back to help Ricky after the birth of his daughter since actress Kim Medcalf has merely taken a long hiatus.
Some ideas contend that Sam, who is the one who transforms The Six into The Seven, may play a significant part in the future Christmas Day murder.
Additionally, it would be campy for Sam to return on Christmas Day and stroll right into a murder.
