Theo Hawthorne’s (William Ellis) time in EastEnders may be numbered now that a number of people are out to get him.

Recently, Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner) learned that creepy instructor Theo was the one who had been following her, sending obscene letters and presents, and even entering into her home.

When she reported him to the police, they informed her that there was nothing they could do, leaving her in fear.

Once she revealed Theo’s actual identity to her family, she gained the support of Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden), and if anybody could be on our side, it would be him.

Before indicating that Phil was ready to assist, Kat Slater (Jessie Wallace) quickly reassured Stacey that Arthur and Hope had arrived at school safely and that the instructors were well aware of the issue.

Stacey was told that Phil would be ready to “tear Theo’s head off and spit down his neck” if she just said the word.

He wasn’t the only one; Harvey Monroe (Ross Boatman) and Freddie Slater (Bobby Brazier) were also eager to cause serious harm.

When Stacey later discovered Theo in the hospital with the newborn Charli, it quickly became apparent that Phil or the others wouldn’t be required.

She yanked her off him and ordered Lily (Lillia Turner) to go while uttering a terrifying threat.

If you ever go close to my family again, I’ll murder you.

With all the marketing EastEnders has been doing, we’re sure we don’t need to tell you that there is a major murder coming up, but perhaps it is time for us to mention that Stacey is going to play a significant role.

The Six will be seen gathering around a dead corpse on Christmas Day, and we’ve already revealed that they’ll be wearing particular colors. These colors have proven significant thus far.

We can’t help but wonder whether Stacey’s warning to kill Theo while donning red represents more than simply an idle threat.

Not to mention that Theo is now squarely in the firing line after actor William Ellis was caught wearing the victim’s cufflinks at this week’s National Television Awards.

Theo looks to have no one left to hide behind as investigator Jack Branning (Scott Maslen) makes it apparent that he is ready to pretend to have missed Stacey’s threat.

Is he going to die soon?
