In upcoming EastEnders episodes, Kat Slater (Jessie Wallace) sets a date for her wedding to Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) and looks to the future. Things won’t go as planned, though, in typical EastEnders flair.
Alfie (Shane Richie) and an Emma (Patsy Kensit) who is returning are largely to blame for this.
At the beginning of the upcoming week, Kat’s emotions are put to the test when Alfie discloses that Tommy (Sonny Kendall) lashed out at him and that he and Phil have been handling it without her.
Kat is terrified when Phil unintentionally spills Alfie’s cancer worry during her confrontation with him over the secrets.
Kat abandons everything to be with Alfie in the hospital when she learns that he will receive his results today, and she later confronts Phil about his falsehoods.
After receiving encouragement from Sharon (Letitia Dean), Phil makes an unsuccessful attempt to make amends with Kat.
Then, after having a terrible afternoon with Jay (Jamie Borthwick), he goes to Peggy’s to be alone himself, but Emma enters and demands a G&T.
Phil comes home the following day after staying out all night. He makes a commitment to be honest with Kat going forward during lunch, but as a sly Emma walks by, he quickly leaves.
Later, after Alfie disappoints the lads, Kat takes a choice and gets in touch with the registrar office.
Following a cancellation, Kat declares in the bar that she will wed Phil the following week.
What possibly could go wrong?
