Bobby Brazier, an EastEnders actor, has confirmed his departure from the BBC soap opera, but don’t worry, he will return.
The Freddie Slater celebrity will compete in this year’s season of Strictly Come Dancing while taking a vacation from her rigorous soap opera schedule.
Character Freddie, who arrived on the Square in 2022 in search of his real father, will leave after a busy year.
He quickly discovered that Billy Mitchell, played by Perry Fenwick, was not his father as he had been made to think, but he was unaware of his real parents.
He became friends with Bobby Beale (Clay Milner Russell) and Alfie Moon (Shane Richie) while living on the Square and eventually moved in with Alfie.
Recently, Freddie made the decision to look for his original father once more. He quickly discovered his genuine name, which enabled him to locate him and set up a meeting.
After meeting Graham Foster (Alex McSweeney), Kat Slater was compelled to reveal the truth to Freddie about how he was created.

When Freddie discovered that Little Mo, his mother, had been sexually assaulted by Graham in 2003, he was inconsolable and went right back to his house to confront Little Mo.
He offended his best buddy Bobby after returning to the Square by giving in to temptation with Anna Knight (Molly Rainford), despite being fully aware of Bobby’s emotions for her.
When discussing his departure with the media, Bobby Brazier remained mum on the plot that would eventually result in his temporary departure.
“I’m stopping now.” I’ve recorded everything, but I’m not telling you. I’ll return.
Bobby has had a very fruitful year thus far, winning the National Television Awards’ Rising Star prize. Could he cap it off by triumphing on Strictly?
