Elle Mulvaney and Mollie Gallagher, stars of Coronation Street, swapped Weatherfield’s cobblestones for a day at famed theme park Alton Towers.
The debut of the theme park’s family-friendly Oktoberfest event converted the day out for Amy Barlow and Nina Lucas and their boyfriends into a double date.
Liam Scholes, an actor and star of the well-known BBC school drama Waterloo Road, joined Elle Mulvaney.
In 2021, when Liam was on the Corrie set as Eli Higginson for a handful of episodes, the two became acquainted. Bully Corey Brent (Maximus Evans) was friends with Eli.

In the meantime, Mollie took along her musician boyfriend of more than three years, Dan Myers, of the indie rock band Inego.
Their day out follows a dramatic year for their fictional characters, who both took part in a disturbing plot line that saw Amy being sexually assaulted by buddy Aaron Sandford.
For several weeks, Amy kept her terrible experience to herself before speaking about it.
Amy suffered after the case was dropped after she reported it to the police owing to a lack of evidence.
However, friends like Summer Spellman (Harriet Bibby), Asha Alahan (Tanisha Gorey), and Nina were eager to help Amy recover from her ordeal.
The celebrities were able to put their jobs behind them as they relaxed and shared grins over beverages.
They weren’t the only Corrie celebs there; Samia Longchambon, who plays Maria Connor, and her two kids also visited the theme park.
The actress apologized to her son for not being tall enough to ride the roller coasters as she shared photographs from the day on Instagram stories.
They appeared to be having fun however, as Samia acknowledged that the heat allowed her to ride more rides than she had anticipated.
