In recent EastEnders scenes, Alfie Moon (Shane Richie) broke down in tears as he told his ex-girlfriend Kat Slater (Jessie Wallace) the results of his prostate cancer tests.
The only person who was aware of Alfie’s cancer fear prior to tonight’s (September 11) episode was Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden), Kat’s husband.
They had been able to become closer because to this secret, which worried unaware Kat.
Kat questioned Alfie about the situation after discovering from son Tommy (Sonny Kendall) that Alfie and Phil had been taking him to the Boxing Den.
Alfie was then compelled to admit that Tommy had attacked him, and the boxing lessons had been an effort to help Tommy manage his emotions.
Kat confronted Phil, who had the false idea about her talk with Alfie, because she felt misinformed about problems involving her kid.
He assumed she was discussing Alfie’s future testing and, not realizing she wasn’t aware of it yet, accidentally revealed his cancer scare.
Phil was forced to tell Kat everything because Kat insisted on knowing everything.
She insisted that her future husband reschedule their appointment to tour a wedding location even though they were scheduled to do so, and then she left to look for Alfie.

Alfie, poor Alfie, was so afraid of his appointment that he made up reasons not to go.
But when Kat discovered him in the Queen Vic, she stressed that he couldn’t miss it and emphasized that, if necessary, she would help him get through it.
Phil soon joined the couple, and the three of them went to the hospital to wait for Alfie’s test results.
However, as Alfie left for his meeting, Kat’s confidence began to waver as she pondered what life would be like without him.
Alfie didn’t take long to leave the doctor’s office, and it was immediately obvious that he had been crying.
But as Kat hurried to embrace him, he hastily revealed that he had received the all-clear.
Are Alfie’s tears only ones of relief, or is there anything else he’s trying to cover up?
