The Freddie Slater star is taking a break from her hectic drama schedule to compete in this year’s Strictly Come Dancing event.
His departure will cap off a hectic year for character Freddie, who came on the Square in 2022 in search of his biological father.
He quickly discovered that Billy Mitchell (Perry Fenwick) was not his father, as he had been made to think, but remained unaware of his true origins.
He made friends with Bobby Beale (Clay Milner Russell) and Alfie Moon (Shane Richie) in the Square before eventually moving in with Alfie.
Freddie recently decided that he wanted to find his biological father once more, and he quickly learned his real name, allowing him to track him down and schedule a meeting.
Kat Slater was obliged to tell Freddie the truth about his conception after meeting with Graham Foster (Alex McSweeney).
Freddie was shocked to learn that Graham had raped his mother, Little Mo, in 2003, and quickly returned home to talk things over with her.
After returning to the Square, he disappointed best buddy Bobby by succumbing to temptation with Anna Knight (Molly Rainford), despite being fully aware of Bobby’s emotions for her.
Bobby Brazier remained tight-lipped regarding the scenario that would lead to his temporary exit when speaking to the media about his exit.
