Danielle Harold of EastEnders replies to I’m A Celebrity rumors

Danielle Harold, star of EastEnders, has responded to news that she is being considered for the next series of I’m A Celebrity‚Ķ I need to get out of here!

It was reported earlier this week that the actress, best known for her role as Lola Pearce in the BBC One soap, ‘caught the attention’ of ITV executives, who wanted her to take part in the next season of the jungle.

Danielle, on the other hand, appeared to refute such rumors during an appearance on Loose Women when asked if they were true.

‘It’s like there’s something going on all year,’ she told Ruth Langsford. ‘One minute I’m on Strictly, the next I’m on that.

‘I’m probably going to be on Dancing on Ice next week!’ Please relax! There is always something, no matter what the latest show is, they always mention your name.’

Ruth attempted to elicit a definitive response from Danielle by asking her directly if she was going into the jungle, to which the soap actress began to respond, “No.”

‘There are only rumors about me going somewhere, and I love it!,’ she says. Daniella went on. ‘I sit at home and think, “Oh, there and there.”

Danielle was axed from EastEnders earlier this year after Lola died of a deadly brain tumor, a storyline that gained great acclaim.

She went on to win Best Leading Actress at the British Soap Awards for her involvement on the narrative, as well as Serial Drama Performance at the National Television Awards.

Both prizes were chosen by popular voting.

‘Everyone continues asking,’ Daniella stated when asked about the future. I’m really looking forward to what comes next since I’ve been [at EastEnders] for half of my life.

‘So to be able to audition now, which I have begun, and get into different personalities, I am really loving it and it is so much fun, it is really wonderful fun,’ she says.
