Given that Denise Fox (Diane Parish) was able to obtain the complete, unedited film of the tragic incident, the real reason behind Ranveer Gulati’s murder has finally come to light in recent EastEnders scenes.
It may be recalled by viewers that Suki Panesar (Balvinder Sopal) set up a camera to film Ranveer during their business meeting, but she was frightened when he attacked her.
Suki swung in self-defense, smacking Ranveer in the head.
When Ravi Gulati (Aaron Thiara) showed there, he consented to dispose of Ranveer’s body since he thought Suki had killed him.
But when Ranveer started to move, he got quite a shock. Before he knew it, Ravi had finished what Suki had started, completely unconscious that the camera was still filming in the background.
Suki has been convinced for the past year that she committed the murder, but Denise’s finding might have put an end to that.
To celebrate Ravi and Nugget’s (Juhaim Rasul Choudhury) move in with Chelsea, Denise and Jack Branning (Scott Maslen), Chelsea Fox (Zaraah Abrahams), and the Panesars hosted a dinner party.
Even though Denise had pledged to be her daughter’s advocate, things quickly changed once Chelsea disclosed that she had spoken to Gina Knight (Francesca Henry) and discovered that Denise had been accusing Ravi of drug selling.
Denise did not leave the house empty handed, however, as Jack made the decision to accompany her home after the argument.
Denise became concerned earlier in the episode because Ravi was so eager to take Nugget’s laptop away, suggesting that he might be concealing something.
Ravi offered Nugget his phone instead, and viewers watched him set it down in the corridor.
Ravi, however, was dismayed to discover it missing when he subsequently went back for it.
Given her hatred for Ravi and her intention to remove him from the picture, Denise’s actions were not unexpected, but when Ricky Mitchell (Frankie Day) assisted her in recovering the deleted files from the computer, she definitely got more than she bargained for.
She was terrified to witness Ranveer’s attack on Suki unfold when she sat down to watch the once-deleted video, and she was obviously stunned to see her ‘murder’ him.
The biggest shock, though, came as the tape continued to play and revealed Ravi’s actual behavior that day.
Unfortunately for Denise, Ravi was seen on the tape as well, as he was seen standing in the doorway very quickly.
