The Coronation Street actress Tina O’Brien has previously expressed her joy over her teenage daughter’s budding acting career; now, she gets the opportunity to do so once more.
This is due to Scarlett Thomas receiving her first acting nomination, who is Tina’s child from a prior relationship with her former co-star Ryan Thomas.
The 14-year-old actress, who portrays Izzi Charles in the BBC One program, will compete in the favorite young actor category at the upcoming TV Times Awards among actors like Amelia Flanagan from Emmerdale, Jude Riordan from Corrie, and Lilia Turner, who portrays Lily Slater on EastEnders.
Furthermore, her mother wasted little time in rallying support for her gifted daughter.
She posted a message on her Instagram Stories writing, “So proud of @scarlettjthomas26.” She’s up for an award from @tvtimesmagazine for playing Izzi on @waterlooroad…Please vote for her if you have two minutes.

Along with the photo of Scarlett dressed as the part, she added: “Please take two minutes to vote for @scarlettjthomas26.”
In the series, Scarlett has joined her uncle, actor Adam Thomas, who plays her on-screen father Donte Charles. Adam joined the cast early this year.
Ryan and Tina have both expressed how proud they are of their daughter’s recent acting achievements.
When Scarlett made her debut in January, the Jason Grimshaw actor posted on social media, saying, “What a time to be alive.” Together, my youngest brother Adam, my youngest nephew Teddy, and my eldest daughter Scarlett take over the TV screen.
What a proud moment for the Thomas family, you know!
Wow. For you all to see it, I can’t wait. As a family, we watched it together.
They’re not the only family members to join the group, though; Teddy, Adam’s son, plays Tommy in Waterloo Road as Donte’s son Donte.
On a regular basis, Tina posts pictures of her daughter on social media.

She recently shared a photo of her teenage daughter vacationing and posing for the camera in the pool on Instagram Story.
Oh my, Scarlet is just, she commented, adding a heart-eye emoji.
“Remember last weekend when we went to Marbs?”
