It’s time to bid Todd Boyce, a star of Coronation Street, farewell. While viewers may be happy to see serial killer Stephen Reid punished, it will be difficult for the Corrie actors to say goodbye to their beloved co-star.
Todd celebrated his departure with a night out with friends and coworkers after being on the show for just over a year.
It’s a double-edged sword for the show because the contentious character appears destined to go in a highly dramatic October storyline, to coincide with ITV’s Super Soap Week.
However, as seen by previous sightings of them together, his pals weren’t going to let him skip a party.
The players performed admirably, with even the renowned Gail Platt, played by the rarely seen Helen Worth, making it to the event.
The actors that were present included Paula Wilcox (Elaine Jones), Tina O’Brien (Sarah Platt), Jack P Shepherd (David Platt), and Tina O’Brien (all of whom have played key roles in the explosive narrative). Todd flashed the thumbs up to the cameras as he enjoyed his night out.
Mollie Gallagher (Nina Lucas), Julia Goulding (Shona Platt), and Colson Smith (Craig Tinker) were among those who joined the gang.
Everyone was having a great time when they arrived throughout the day and continued to do so as night fell. They were obviously fans of Todd and a fantastic night out.
Stephen himself is having a much worse time since the countless killings he committed are being made public.
In the next weeks, things will only become worse for Stephen when Leo’s body parts will be discovered on the building site that Ed (Trevor Michael Georges) and Ronnie (Vinta Morgan) has recently purchased.
Police and residents of Corrie gathered to see the pulling out of yet another horrible discovery in scenes shot along a canal. As viewers are aware, Stephen hid Teddy’s body in the canal where Tim is pursuing shifty Stephen.
Todd Boyce warned us, “We are going to see him start taking risks.” It would be interesting to see how he handles the pressure when his life starts to fall apart as he becomes more desperate.
He will inevitably start making blunders, which could be his downfall.
Pictures also showed Todd photographing in an airport. Will Stephen be able to flee and avoid punishment, or will he be apprehended?
And may there be a loss of life in the commotion?
Following the assassination of Leo Thompkins last September, the persona assumed the position of the Weatherfield villain.
Stephen has since killed a man named Rufus and Teddy, the father of Leo.
Additionally, he planned to poison his wife Elaine, and after frequently administering LSD to Carla, he drove her to despair.
Fans can anticipate seeing all of that play out over the upcoming months. That’s a lot of things to suffer the repercussions for.
