Pictures from Coronation Street reveal one of the most significant weeks of the ITV soap opera, including a wedding with a major twist and Stephen Reid’s eventual downfall.
It goes without saying that the wedding we’re talking to is that of Billy Mayhew and Paul Foreman, played by Daniel Brocklebank and Peter Ash, respectively.
Billy waits for Paul at the top, his heart filled with love for his fiancé, as Bernie Winter (Jane Hazelgrove) and Gemma (Dolly-Rose Campbell) lead the way down the aisle.
After exchanging vows, the registrar declares the couple married. Billy learns, however, that Paul had been withholding something from him after the marriage.
You’ll have to see the show the following week to figure out what the specifics of this secret are since we’re staying quiet about it.

Finally, Stephen’s (Todd Boyce) time is beginning to run out. The murderer tries to force Jenny Connor (Sally Ann Matthews) into moving to Thailand at the beginning of the week, but she resists.
That is, until she realizes how serious he is about moving, at which point, much to Stephen’s joy, she informs Rita Tanner (Barbara Knox) of her desire to leave the cobbles.
He is unaware that Carla Connor (Alison King), across the street, has gotten a letter from a clinic stating that her hair sample has LSD traces.
Carla muses on whether Rufus was to fault, but after hearing a startling revelation from Michael Bailey (Ryan Russell), she realizes that it was actually Stephen who had been drugging her.
Between Monday, October 2 and Friday, October 6, at 7:30 p.m. on ITV1 and ITVX, Coronation Street will broadcast these sequences.
