Samantha Giles, an Emmerdale star, is moving from the village to the stage for her new acting position.
Following her reappearance in 2021, the actress will shortly exit the program as Bernice Blackstock.
For the holiday season, Samantha has joined the cast of Cinderella at Bradford’s Alhambra theater.
Samantha will portray the Wicked Stepmother in the performance, which will run from December 9 through January 21 in 2024, and will also include John Whaite from GBBO and Strictly.

Samantha’s panto revelation follows the announcement that her co-star Liam Fox will be in a different production, along with Chris Gascoyne of Coronation Street, who will portray Captain Hook in The Alban Arena’s production of Peter Pan.
After Eric Pollard (Chris Chittell) revealed that he was selling the B&B, Bernice teamed up with Bob Hope (Tony Audenshaw) to take over the establishment recently.
Working together has led to an unforeseen bond between Bernice and Bob, which emerged in the middle of the plot arc between Liam Cavanagh (Jonny McPherson) and Wendy (Susan Cookson).

Bernice is making an attempt to settle into operating the B&B, but a change is coming as she will leave the Dales later this year.
At the time, a source informed The Sun, “Bernice Blackstock has been in and out of the Emmerdale village more than they replace the barrels at The Woolpack.”
She’s always received warmly by ITV and fans alike, but it’s now starting to seem a bit like a recurring gag.
Samantha will quit the soap opera later this year, but it wouldn’t be wise to place a wager on whether she will return at some point.
