This week on Coronation Street, Stephen Reid (Todd Boyce) is a guy who is running out of time.
With the discovery of Leo’s body, the walls are closing in on the serial murderer. Stephen is well aware of what is going to happen, and as the police continue their investigation, it won’t be long until Teddy’s body is discovered and the truth about Rufus’ death is made public.
Coming up, Jenny informs Stephen that while she can understand the allure of relocating permanently to Thailand, doing so is only a pipedream and a vacation will do.
He thus intends to use his charm to persuade partner Jenny (Sally Ann Matthews) that leaving Weatherfield is a wise decision.
The plot is then furthered when Stephen presents Jenny with a photograph of a bar in Thailand and informs her that the owner is a buddy who is seeking a new manager.
Although Jenny is aware of how serious he is about moving, it is abundantly evident at the beginning of the week that she won’t be persuaded.
However, a few days later, Jenny contacts the Kabin and informs Rita (Barbara Knox) that she has decided to move to Thailand and has no regrets.
Stephen is delighted when Jenny tells him in the cafe that she would love to go away.
But will he get in Thailand safely or will the cops track Stephen down?
Will Stephen kill one final time before fleeing, as previously leaked images also depict the moment he tries to strangle Tim Metcalfe (Joe Duttine)?
