Next week on Coronation Street, Stephen Reid (Todd Boyce) is determined to stop everyone who stands in his path after killing Leo, Teddy, and Rufus.
The centerpiece of Super Soap Week this year is Stephen’s demise. Police officers and Weatherfield neighbors are currently piecing together a really disturbing jigsaw puzzle after Leo’s body was found.
Stephen is preparing his escape and decides to go to Thailand because he is fully aware of what is happening.
But before he can go, he has deal with a number of individuals when the truth is ultimately revealed.
In the midst of a confrontation with Tim (Joe Duttine), who has found a body in the dark waters of the canal, Stephen is back at the canal as Carla (Alison King) alerts Jenny (Sally Ann Matthews) that the police are on to him.
Tim is attempted to be strangled by Stephen using a tie, but Stephen runs after him and eventually hits Tim in the head with a brick, rendering him comatose.

Back on the cobblestones, Sally (Sally Dynevor) becomes irritated with Tim for going to a football game rather than celebrating their anniversary, but she is unaware that he is battling for his life in the trunk of his vehicle as it is being doused with gasoline!
After learning that Stephen has changed his flight, DS Swain (Vicky Myers) hurries to the airport to attempt to catch him as the action quickens.
Sally is sick with concern when Elaine (Paula Wilcox), who is obviously afraid, recounts that the Platts believe Stephen murdered anybody who stood in his way.
Actor Todd Boyce used to continually remind people that he was in a difficult situation when he arrived in Weatherfield by saying, “He’s absolutely and utterly desperate.”
He arrived at Weatherfield appearing to be in control despite the fact that his wheels had fallen off in Milan. This is the result of his sustained struggle with difficulty over the course of more than a year and a half of covering.
Anyone who stands in his way during this last stretch is in immediate risk of death. To escape this dreadful circumstance, he will do everything.
