In Emmerdale, Chloe Harris (Jessie Elland) offers Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins) a ride back to the titular village after discovering her broken down on the highway.
Fans are aware that Charity has been debating whether or not to tell Chloe about her one-night affair with Lawrence Robb’s character, Mackenzie Boyd, with whom she is still much in love.
Even though they are still very much in love with one another, the ex-lovers came to some sort of agreement and decided to let one another go on after Mack pleaded with her not to.
They had no idea, though, that Chloe had heard their talk and had come to find out the truth. She explained to Tracy Metcalfe (Amy Walsh), who was there to help her digest the news, that she was finally able to forgive her own husband’s infidelity because of how much he loved her.
Mack gave Charity a goodbye embrace before leaving on his expedition, and Chloe decided to forgive him because she saw the private moment.
Chloe devises a plan of vengeance after realizing that Mack still harbors feelings for Charity in Tuesday’s (October 11) episode of the ITV soap opera, which she launches after leaving on her journey to Scotland.
In the meantime, Charity has collapsed, and Chloe has come to help her. Wanting retribution, Charity demands that her love rival get in the car and that she drive her home.
In the aforementioned clip from tonight’s show, Chloe stirs up trouble by purposefully making Mack and Charity uncomfortable as she talks about both happy and terrible memories from her time in the village.
The look on Charity’s face shows that she is beginning to understand that Chloe is not telling the truth about everything, and soon enough, she expresses her want to go.
However, catastrophe will soon strike as Chloe’s plot goes horribly wrong and puts everyone’s lives in jeopardy, forcing Mackenzie to choose between the two women in his life.
Who will he decide to save, though? And who will descend to the lower levels? All you have to do is watch to find out.
