Due to the success of Sian and Sophie’s romance, Sacha’s contract was initially extended by the show’s producers. She acted in Coronation Street from 2009 to late November 2011.

Sacha has previously stated that she wanted to focus on other endeavors and not linger too long on the show.

She has been in Casualty, The Crash, The Driver, My Mad Fat Diary, and Safe House since her time on Corrie made her famous.

She now makes use of her position to talk about her endometriosis struggles after being publicly diagnosed with it in 2018.

In 2018, Sacha shared how she fainted while exercising from ‘excruciating’ pain but was unaware that she was also dealing with endometriosis.

Sacha revealed what she had gone through on ITV’s Lorraine, saying that for years, she had assumed that having painful and heavy periods was normal. It wasn’t until she passed out while working out that she realized something wasn’t right.

The Salford actress remembered crawling across the hotel room floor to go back into her bed out of dread that no one would discover her until it was too late. She has been hailed an inspiration for sharing her experience.
