Following the severe automobile accident that left Chloe Harris (Jessie Elland) in a coma, Chloe has lately been at the center of some dramatic events in Emmerdale.

Chloe, Mackenzie Boyd (Lawrence Robb), and Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins) were involved in a serious automobile accident during Super Soap Week that left the vehicle perched precariously on a cliff, with Chloe suffering severe injuries as a result.

After emerging from her coma Chloe claims to have no memory of the accident and is clueless of what has happened afterward, including Mack telling Charity that he still loves her.

It’s only going to grow more difficult and dramatic, but with Chloe still seriously hurt, is the character’s demise imminent?

Does Chloe Harris intend to leave Emmerdale?
Since Chloe Harris survived her injuries from the collision, there is currently no indication that she will leave Emmerdale anytime soon.

Mack realized he could only save one person from the automobile perched on the edge of a cliff and decided to save Charity, who was also trapped in the vehicle, leaving Chloe, the mother of Mack’s infant boy Reuben, to fall to her death.

Chloe chose to dump Mack on the moors when traveling to Scotland for vacation after learning of their continued relationship. This caused the calamity.

They gave Charity a ride when they noticed her broken down on the side of the road with the intention of leaving them both stranded, but their plot was foiled when a car crashed into them, leaving their car perched precariously on a clifftop.

The accident set off a series of circumstances that led Mack to confess that he still had feelings for Charity and that he made the choice to let Chloe die.

The future is primed for fireworks now that Mack has acknowledged his affections for his ex while Chloe has been unconscious. However, as explosive as the character’s vengeance scheme may have been, Jessie Elland has supported her.

She clarified this at a recent Emmerdale press conference, saying, “She’s not a malevolent person; she’s just extremely heartbroken by what she overheard when she found out.”

She needed to respond in some manner in order to get retribution.

I don’t believe that seeking retribution is motivated by malice. Once she is dangling from the cliff, I don’t believe she will be considering getting even a little retribution!

On Monday at 7.30 p.m. on ITV1, Emmerdale will resume.
