Fiona Wade, who left Emmerdale earlier this year, has expressed her happiness at securing her first gig.
For the next UK tour of 2.22 A Ghost Story, the actress, who portrayed Priya Kotecha in the ITV serial opera, is joining the ensemble.
Acclaimed from its 2021 West End debut, the production has included several big performers in pivotal parts over its several incarnations.
Jenny, who has been portrayed by EastEnders actress Louisa Lytton, Jaime Winstone, Lily Allen, and Cheryl, will be portrayed by Fiona.
The iconic character from Emmerdale will be performing in a tour performance alongside many other soap opera actors, such as George Rainsford from Casualty and Vera Chok, who most recently played Honour Chen-Williams on Hollyoaks.
“I am so delighted to be joining the cast of @222aghoststory Playing the character of Jenny in the UK Tour 2024,” Fiona said on Instagram to express her joy.
Being involved in this exciting and dazzling production is indeed a dream come true. I’m grateful and honored to be a part of this incredible team!

After leaving Emmerdale last year, Fiona aired her farewell scenes in the role of Priya in January.

“I have had a great time portraying Priya, and I am really grateful to @emmerdale & @itv for the amazing chances they have provided me with over the years.”
“Such a treasure of a career” and “such beautiful memories.”
