In forthcoming scenes on EastEnders, Kathy Beale (Gillian Taylforth) may be in grave danger as Nish Panesar (Navin Chowdhry) plots to exact revenge on Rocky Cotton (Brian Conley).
Rocky recently made the terrible error of borrowing money from Nish even though he was well aware of how difficult it would be for him to repay it.
Following their extortion of £50,000 by Rocky’s former partner Jo Cotton (Vicki Michelle), he and Kathy have been deeply in debt.
Rocky has turned to gambling, which is an extremely risky game, while Kathy has been working nonstop at the café to pay off their debts.
Rocky couldn’t find it in him to tell Kathy that they couldn’t afford it because she was so excited to put down the deposit on a new apartment; instead, he consented to a loan from Nish.
Nish Panesar is the person on Albert Square you should avoid crossing at this time.
Rocky will disclose his concerns to Harvey Monroe (Ross Boatman) in later scenes. Harvey foolishly advises Rocky to approach Nish for a reduced debt payback schedule.
Rocky quickly takes Harvey’s advise, but when Nish tells him that changing the terms of their contract will have serious financial consequences, Rocky is shocked.
In short, Rocky is in trouble.
He is left in total chaos, wondering how to pay off his mounting obligations without telling Kathy, and he quickly realizes that he could be getting into too much trouble.
When the café’s fuse box bursts, things only become worse for Kathy, who is forced to pay a professional to replace it, throwing her into a predicament.
As Nish learns about his gambling addiction, he starts to realize that Rocky has been ignoring him, and soon he is out for revenge.
He does not waste any time in delivering a severe warning to Rocky, threatening to reveal all to Kathy unless he pays up.
But would that warning be sufficient given that Rocky is absolutely broke?
Is it possible that Nish may go to further lengths to recover his money?
Given that Nish has previously served 20 years in jail for murder and that he just savagely beat his wife Suki (Balvider Sopal), we are aware that he is a dangerous guy capable of anything.
Is Nish planning to murder Kathy to exact revenge on Rocky?
