Great character returns tonight in a major EastEnders twist

Like Linda Carter (Kellie Bright), fans who watch EastEnders first thing in the morning have had the shock of their life when they streamed the most recent episode of the serial.

In an attempt to make this Halloween season one to remember, the landlady of the Queen Vic went all out to throw the Halloween party to end all Halloween parties at the neighborhood bar.

After Jay Brown’s (Jamie Borthwick) accident, Elaine Peacock (Harriet Thorpe) wasn’t entirely sure if it was proper to do this. However, she decided to take a chance since she knew how important it was to Linda to preserve Mick Carter’s (Danny Dyer) memories.

Based on what we’ve seen so far, the party was a big success, as seen by the really frightening costumes that the Walford locals and the Vic’s bar staff wore throughout the evening.

The shock of hiding upstairs, nevertheless, was real.

After going upstairs to put Ollie (Harry Farr) to bed, Linda went into the kitchen, where she saw an apparition from the past.

Linda believed she had seen the last of the man, who had sexually assaulted her nine years prior, when he reappeared in Walford in 2016 after he was acquitted of his crimes.

What has brought Dean back now, after all this time, is the question. And why is he going upstairs just to frighten Linda?

After Dean was referenced in the historic flash-forward episode where Linda and five other ladies were seen standing over a body at Christmas 2023, many have theorized that we may see Dean return on the Square.

Furthermore, it seemed from a set shot that went viral earlier this month that actor Matt Di Angelo had returned to the part.

Monday through Thursday at 7:30 p.m., BBC One and BBC iPlayer broadcast EastEnders.
