In future episodes of EastEnders, Jamie Borthwick’s character, Jay Brown, muses over his recent trip to the hospital.

Following Lola’s (Danielle Harold) passing, Jay had a very difficult time adjusting. Because of his behavior, he went to drugs and alcohol, paid to sleep in the same bed as a prostitute, and alienated family members.

Following a dreadful altercation with Billy (Perry Fenwick), Jay hopped in his vehicle and drove out of Walford.

Being unrelated to Jay, Ben (Max Bowden) and Billy were first unable to obtain any information about his accident, but they quickly learned that he had been in one.

Ben was eventually granted permission to see Jay.

He was quite concerned that Jay had attempted suicide, and he directly asked him if that was the reason for the crash when he awoke.

Rocky is under pressure (BBC picture).

He was comforted by Jay that the incident was an accident, but after that, he talked candidly about his mental health and disclosed that, while he had considered suicide, it is not a “serious notion,”

Rocky (Brian Conley) will be busy trying to find the money to repay his debt in later episodes, but Nish (Navin Chowdhry) has other intentions.

When Nish says he wants a car stolen from the dealership, Rocky gives in.

But Rocky decides against it after speaking with Jay, who has just returned, about life after his nearly deadly automobile accident.

Where does this leave Jay, as the spotlight returns to Rocky, who is getting ready to tell Kathy (Gillian Taylforth) about his debt?

Can he begin to reconstruct his life following these horrifying few months?
