A false debt entangles Bernice Blackstock (Samatha Giles), and Jimmy and Nicola King (Nick Miles and Nicola Wheeler) become the victims of the plot.
Several law enforcement officers show up to take the couple’s possessions, but Nicola won’t denounce Bernice—who is hiding out at Brook Cottage out of dread of going to jail—despite Jimmy’s persistent pleas.
Nicola manages to locate Bernice through some probing; she is determined to get away quickly before she is discovered. Bernice chooses to stay when Nicola stops her sister from leaving.
Bernice, however, is left with a lot to consider as Nicola gives her quite the ultimatum. With actor Samantha Giles expected to depart the series, the story in question will serve as Bernice’s farewell tale.

In another scene, Rhona Goskirk (Zoe Henry) is shocked to learn that Gus took her embryos and that Lucy is expecting a child by Marlon Dingle (Mark Charnock)!
She is urged to talk with Gus by Marlon and Mary (Louise Jameson), but he does not appear as he and Lucy attempt to go quickly. Rhona is distraught when Lucy comes out of the home to say “thank you.”
After that, things take a worrying turn as Lucy doubles over in agony as her waters burst.
How will Lucy fare? Does the infant?
Mackenzie Boyd (Lawrence Robb) also has a very important week as he battles his love for Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins), who is still completely enamored with him.
Charity makes the decision to travel to Scotland in order to get away from the drama, but Mack is terrified that she will be going and falls in front of Charity’s car, pleading with her to remain. After the ex-couple declares their genuine love for one another, Mack asks Charity to marry him, and she accepts.
Mack then goes about breaking up with Chloe Harris (Jessie Elland), but before he can break her heart, she passes out and has to be taken to the hospital. Would she be alright?
