Based on her most recent Instagram snap, Coronation Street actress Sally Carman appears to be in the holiday spirit already.
The actress, who is most known for playing Abi Franklin, posted a cozy Christmas photo of herself with a dog dressed for the holidays on a mug with the message “merry woofmas.”
Still, it wasn’t the mug that drew attention.
“Hair looks beautiful too x,” said fellow Corrie co-star Kate Ford, who portrays Tracy Barlow on the ITV serial opera.
Like another admirer said, “Sal, I adore your hair!” See how lengthy it is! You seem amazing, xxxxx.
“Love the long hair,” a third person said.
Sally and her co-star Joe Duttine, who portrays Tim Metcalfe on Coronation Street, recently celebrated their first wedding anniversary. In September, the two of them spent a few days in London, seeing restaurants and famous spots like Trafalgar Square.
Sally added, “Had a fantastic couple of days in London with this gorgeous man,” next to the photo carousel. “Many thanks to the sun for shining today.”
After going into lockdown together, the couple declared their engagement in 2020.
Only a few days after the pandemic forced the closure of the Coronation Street set, they announced their good news. Joe posted a picture of himself and Sally celebrating, with her gorgeous emerald ring prominently on show.
Joe added, “Yes, everyone, convid 19 can f**k off,” next to the photo.
But the happy pair subsequently acknowledged that things weren’t always simple when they first started dating on an episode of Lorraine.
“We were friends for a time, but when we started sharing puddings, I felt that there may be trouble.”
Despite their off-screen union, Sally and her partner don’t appear in many scenes together on the soap opera, which is a relief for her as she has acknowledged that she finds it quite difficult to collaborate with her partner.
