Before her significant departure from the show, Karen Taylor (Lorraine Stanley) will be treated to a surprise in upcoming EastEnders scenes.
Karen’s departure from the BBC soap opera was announced earlier this year, though it’s still unclear how that will transpire.
She is still in shock over her role in the kidnapping of her grandson Albie, which the rest of her family is still unaware of.
After his plan to get Albie out of the country failed, Keanu Taylor (Danny Walters) forced Karen to cooperate with his improvised kidnapping scheme.
Under duress, Keanu staged several ransom notes and then told the police he had his son abducted.
In later scenes, Keanu and Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean) will be invited to a surprise party that Mitch Baker (Roger Griffiths) will throw for Karen.
What will Karen think of them being there?
Karen has never approved of Sharon and Keanu’s relationship, which has made their relationship extremely difficult.
Sharon attempted to reach out to her future mother-in-law in recent scenes where Keanu and Sharon got reengaged, but Karen quickly put a stop to it.
Karen declined Sharon’s invitation to join them for celebratory drinks, even though Sharon insisted that she was a member of their family, and she never again gave her blessing to their union.
Given Karen’s strong disapproval of their relationship and her continued concealment of Albie’s kidnapping, is it possible that she will reveal everything in an effort to separate Keanu and Sharon?
