“However, I’m curious to know if he began to enjoy playing the part of a slightly bad boy… I’m excited to record that on camera! ..Even though I’ve enjoyed playing Ethan so far, I’m excited to play something different because it’s been kind of the same vibe.

“Since humans have many facets, it would be great to show a darker side to Ethan.”

Emile, though, is hoping that this plot won’t result in Ethan losing his fancy legal job, saying, “It would be a shame not to have to get dressed every day.” I truly enjoy dressing up and wearing a tie.”

Recently, Ethan has shared several scenes on screen with Zoe Henry’s character Rhona Goskirk. He is eager to collaborate more with actors with whom he hasn’t had much experience thus far.

“I think Mark [Charnock] is a fantastic actor, so I’m hoping it leads to more scenes with Marlon.” He’s given me great advice on set when I’ve worked with him.

“I would adore performing on stage with him in a scene. I believe he has a lot to teach me. I’d really like to spend a little more time with him because, aside from that, he’s just a really nice guy.”

Emmerdale airs on weeknights at 7.30pm on ITV1, and streams on ITVX.
