In upcoming episodes of EastEnders, Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) finds herself in a dire situation following a confrontation between Dean Wicks (Matt Di Angelo) and George Knight (Colin Salmon).
A few weeks ago, Dean came back to Walford and scared Linda by going into the pub’s kitchen. He disclosed that the reason he returned was to be near his daughter Jade, who was admitted to the hospital near his former residence.
When the residents learned that Cindy (Michelle Collins) and Ian (Adam Woodyatt) were entering into business with a rapist, it caused a stir. Dean had invested in Cindy and Ian’s new pie and mash shop in order to make money for himself.
In the next episodes, Beales Eels will make their debut on this day, but Dean is incensed to see the word “rapist” scrawled across the window.
Dean, who believes Linda was responsible, confronts her and the Knights in front of the crowd, telling them he can sue her for slander.
On Jack’s advice, Linda reluctantly goes to make a truce with Dean because she is worried about how legal action will affect the pub (Scott Maslen).

Ian and Cindy demand that Dean back down or their business will never succeed after Linda fails to defuse the situation.
Afterwards, during a heated altercation in the pub upstairs, George snaps at Dean, causing him to tumble down the stairs and lie motionless at the bottom.

After Cindy reports to the ambulance that she didn’t witness the incident, Ian becomes enraged that Cindy is standing in for George.
Cindy agrees to tell the police the truth after Ian begs her not to lie for George at the hospital because she might wind herself back there.
However, Linda takes matters into her own hands after learning that George will serve a prison sentence and is on a suspended sentence.
What will Linda do when Elaine (Harriet Thorpe) makes it plain that she wants her to say anything to clear George’s name?
And what is Dean’s future now?
