The plot of Suki Panesar (Balvinder Sopal) and Eve Unwin (Heather Peace) on EastEnders is about to take a dramatic turn when Eve’s attempt to move on forces Suki to face her true feelings.
Suki decided over the summer to continue her relationship with Nish (Navin Chowdhry) and to stop seeing Eve.
Since then, the evil man has persecuted Suki both physically and psychologically. Most recently, he grabbed her neck and made her claim that Kheerat (Jaz Deol) killed Ranveer rather than Ravi (Aaron Thiara).
Suki’s stress level has increased since Priya (Sophie Khan Levy) and her daughter Avani (Aaliyah James) arrived, and in future episodes, Vinny (Shiv Jalota) begins to worry about his mother’s well-being.
Nish intervenes later to resolve an issue involving Avani’s passport, and Priya assures her daughter that she will ensure he enjoys their company.
But he’s shocked when Priya kisses Nish in the end, especially when he realizes Vinny and Suki are standing in the doorway!
Suki becomes upset upon witnessing Eve with her new partner Tessa, after accusing Nish of relishing their kiss. Vinny is curious as to why Suki was so forgiving after she persuades Nish to give Priya another chance.
Suki eventually comes clean about how miserable she is in the marriage and how much she despises Nish. Though distraught, Vinny assures Suki that he won’t obstruct her from being with Eve if that is her desire.
As the week goes on, Eve witnesses Suki and Nish fighting and is able to talk to her alone. Suki discloses that Vinny has approved of their relationship, but Eve asserts that having Tessa has made her want to move on from their previous closed relationship.
Suki tells Vinny she’s going to leave Nish and start over because she doesn’t see why she should stay.
As Suki finishes off her plan, she begs Eve to accompany her one last time.
The wise Stacey (Lacey Turner) advises her friend to focus on Tessa’s future rather than Suki’s past.
