The tragic news that Amy Nuttall, star of Emmerdale,’s mother Elaine passed away four months after being diagnosed with a brain tumor, was disclosed.
The actress shared the heartbreaking news on social media. She is most known for her role as Chloe Atkinson on the ITV soap opera.
Amy, 41, shared a number of photos of her mother taken over the years on Instagram.
“My heart is pounding hard as I write this,” she wrote. I said goodbye to my lovely, dear mother yesterday. She was given a grade 4 glioblastoma diagnosis in July. It would be an understatement to suggest that it was the biggest shock.
On October 30, 23 at 5:05 p.m., my amazing family and I helped care for her until the very end, when she passed away in my arms.
“She humbled us all with how she handled this cruel diagnosis,” the speaker went on. never grumbling, always beaming, and showcasing her ridiculous humor every single day. You were my rock, mom. Every time. My closest pal.

As fans flocked to the star to offer their condolences, one fan responded, saying, “I’m so so sorry for your loss.” I am completely devastated. In September, my wonderful father passed away. I am aware of the suffering, shock, fear, and numbness you are experiencing at the moment. Take care of yourself.

The Emmerdale actress and her 44-year-old husband Andrew Buchan, an actor, were the subject of conflicting rumors earlier this year due to the latter’s purported extramarital affair with Leila Farzad.
But it was reported that Amy, who has two kids with her partner, had accepted Andrew back as long as he followed tight guidelines.
According to recent reports, Amy “kicked Andrew out” once more, and their relationship is “over for good.”
