Fans of Coronation Street were taken aback by Carla Medonça’s recent hairstyle in the most recent episode.
The 59-year-old actress from My Parents Are Aliens made her debut on the ITV soap opera as Mrs. Orla Crawshaw. After deciding to become a teacher, she was primarily seen supervising Daniel Osbourne’s (Rob Mallard) classes.
Sean Tully (Antony Cotton) is chasing Dylan Wilson’s missing trainers in the most recent episode. When Sean disposed of some disposable vapes that Dylan had been keeping hidden in the house for Mason, Mason Radcliffe (Luca Toolan) forced Dylan to turn over the shoes.
Mason is warned by a terrified Dylan that Sean intends to report the missing trainers to the head at the school.
Mason informs the head that Liam Connor (Charlie Wrenshall) is the one who took Dylan’s sneakers, and sure enough, the trainers are still there when she opens Liam’s locker. Liam realizes he’s been stitched up right away.
But when Weatherfield High’s deputy headteacher Orla Crawshaw (Carla) appeared, soap opera viewers were forced to do a double take.

“Headteacher Orla Crawshaw returns to complete the trifecta of camp female characters who need a permanent role,” tweeted someone going by the handle X.
“Miss Crawshaw’s new bob, yaaas,” said another.
“It’s great to see Mrs. Crawshaw back and I love her new hairdo,” concurred a third.
The role of Sophie Johnson on CITV’s My Parents Are Aliens is Carla’s most well-known work.

The program, which aired from 1999 to 2006, centers on the lives of Mel, Josh, and Lucy, three orphans, as well as their foster parents, Sophie and Brian (Tony Gardner).
After Brian tampered with the spaceship controls, the children soon find out that their new parents are aliens and that they crashed land on Earth.
Being aliens, Sophie and Brian naturally have a very hazy understanding of what it means to live on Earth, so Mel, Josh, and Lucy must try their hardest to teach them how to live.
