After a torturous ten months of waiting to discover how and why one of Walford’s men would perish on Christmas Day, viewers of EastEnders can look forward to scenes in which The Six reunite as the possible murderer draws near.

Every member of The Six has had a difficult year, and now is the right moment for them to fulfill a promise they made during their historic lock-in back in February: giving one guy the precise thing he deserves.

Denise Fox (Diane Parish), Kathy Beale (Gillian Taylforth), Linda Carter (Kellie Bright), Suki Panesar (Balvinder Sopal), Kathy Beale (Gillian Taylforth), Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner), and Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean) are all expected to watch the carol concert as they attempt to repress their anguish. But what brings them there? Denise is having a rough time in her marriage to Jack Branning (Scott Maslen), though she quickly decides that she wants to fight to turn things around.

But after making a significant discovery, she confides in her sister Kim (Tameka Empson), who counsels her to file for divorce because it is obvious that her marriage is gone.

When Denise packs her things to go after realizing there is no way back, Amy Mitchell (Ellie Dadd) catches her and she runs out of the home.

A depressing After seeing Amy sobbing at the playground, Jack accuses Denise of being the reason behind Amy’s deteriorating mental state and bans her from ever leaving the house.

Denise acknowledges that she cannot forgive him for exploiting Amy’s mental state as a means of blackmail when he attempts to make apologies later.

Suki initiates an inquiry in another scene after learning that Stacey is purportedly the recipient of flowers from Eve Unwin (Heather Peace). A cursory check of husband Nish’s (Navin Chowdhry) laptop reveals that he was the sender of the flowers.

Suki becomes pale upon realizing that he must be aware of their romance. She organizes her retaliation after telling Stacey everything, but Stacey stops her, cautioning her not to make any foolish decisions.

When Nish gets home, Stacey leaves, but will Suki heed her advice?

In the meantime, Sharon and Linda pick up her ideal wedding gown in anticipation of her big day, having already reveled in adding Danny Walters’ (Keanu Taylor) name to Albie’s birth certificate. However, as soon as they return to Albert Square, a frenzied Tommy (Sonny Kendall) knocks it out of her hands and into the street.

Friends come together to persuade Sharon not to call off the wedding, despite her belief that her poor luck must be a message.

Sharon determines that the show must go on as Kathy gives her a new dress and Linda gives encouraging words.

Thus, when the carol concert begins and The Six fight their agony, it is only a few hours until a horrible murder occurs.
