Huge consequences have been felt throughout Albert Square as a result of Keanu Taylor’s (Danny Walters) horrific deeds in EastEnders, including the loss of his whole family.
Although viewers are aware that Keanu was really the one behind the kidnapping, Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean) was horrified to be told her son Albie had been abducted.
Keanu hid his tracks by tricking Sharon into believing their kid had been abducted, including fabricating ransom notes to make it appear more plausible, after his plot to block Sharon from taking Albie out of the country failed.
But Keanu let his mother Karen Taylor (Lorraine Stanley) take the blame after Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) revealed the truth in the Queen Vic, destroying his family in the process.
Karen had little option but to go as the entire Square turned against her for what they thought was her scheme. Eventually, Mitch Baker (Roger Griffiths) was convinced to go with her.
In the meantime, Keanu continued to struggle with a furious Phil, who was demanding the return of every dollar that he had taken.
Keanu had no idea that Karen intended to steal everything and leave him to deal with the music.
Keanu didn’t realize what was happening until the family was leaving in Mitch’s van. He quickly chased after the van, where Bernie Taylor (Clair Norris) was bidding farewell.
Until Phil’s statement in the Queen Vic, Bernie was completely unaware of the entire situation.
Only then did Karen come clean and tell her that Keanu was the one who had come up with the idea.
Bernie was furious that Keanu would allow their mother to bear the brunt of the guilt and had promptly declared his own demise.
Could Bernie kill Keanu given that a corpse is expected to be discovered on the Queen Vic floor on Christmas Day, Keanu is on the official list of possible victims, and many fans have theorized about a seventh killer?
