Since Eve Unwin (Heather Peace) abruptly vanished from EastEnders, Suki Panesar and Stacey Slater (Balvinder Sopal and Lacey Turner) have been living nightmares.

When they last heard from her, Eve had just reconnected with her soulmate Suki and was about to flee Walford. However, it was immediately apparent that something was amiss when Eve did not show up at the tube station.

Unbeknownst to Suki, their violent spouse Nish Panesar (Navin Chowdhry) had discovered their covert romance. He utilized Eve’s phone to transport her to Walford East, where he rendered her comatose and demanded that his son Ravi Gulati (Aaron Thiara) kill her.

Following a heated dispute, Ravi gave in to Nish’s demands and hauled Eve into the woods, where events took an unexpected turn.

Rather from killing her as Nish had requested, Ravi released her, but not before cautioning her that she would be endangering both of them if she returned to Walford or spoke with Suki once more.

Upon arriving home, he deceived Nish into believing that Eve had passed away and been buried, as per their prearranged plan.

Stacey and Suki have been making every effort to learn what has happened to Eve since that horrible night, and their fear has only risen with each passing day.

Initially, Suki mistakenly denied that Nish had leaked information about their romance, which Stacey suspected.

In more recent scenes, Theo Hawthorne (William Ellis), a malevolent stalker, sent Stacey a Christmas card. His insinuation that she was missing her “special someone” made her suspect that he was connected to Eve’s disappearance.

Stacey reported the card after giving it to Suki and asking Jack Branning (Scott Maslen) to ensure the police treated Eve’s abduction seriously.

Despite their insistence that there was no connection between Theo’s disappearance and Eve’s, the police persisted in their investigation and went to Walford East to speak with Ravi.

After they were done with him, Ravi went to meet Nish but was worried to see that the cops had already arrived.

Ravi said he had attempted to warn him that they were coming after Nish had exposed them.

Ravi noted that Nish’s prolonged possession of Eve’s phone did not assist, while Nish bemoaned that Jack was “sticking his nose in.”

Not wanting another Ranveer on their hands, Nish quickly deflected by inquiring as to whether Ravi had completed the task correctly.

The audience is aware that Ravi killed Ranveer, but soon long, his body was discovered, an inquiry was conducted, and Kheerat Panesar was sentenced to jail for the crime.

Since he had handled Eve better than anybody else, Ravi reassured Nish that this wouldn’t happen.

Though Ravi advised him to just take things one day at a time, Nish was evasive as he pointed out that Stacey and Jack were becoming a problem and that they might need to take action to stop that.

Will Eve’s disappearance be solved by the police, or will Stacey and Suki never get the truth about what truly happened to her?
