In forthcoming scenes on Coronation Street, Simon Barlow (Alex Bain) and Sam Blakeman (Jude Riordan) are engaged in a fatal vehicle collision that puts them in grave danger.

The ITV soap opera’s cast and crew, featuring Jude Riordan and Alex Bain as Simon and Sam, were spotted filming the emotional sequences on location. The scenes are scheduled to screen in 2019.

Sam, a student at Weatherfield High, is said to receive a lift from Simon, who rushes to get him there in time.

But then the automobile gets into an accident.

The photos from the session show that Simon and Sam appear to escape the car without suffering any serious injuries.

It remains to be known, though, what precisely caused the collapse and what the brown envelope Simon is clutching means.

What might that be, exactly?

It’s safe to say that Simon, who is about to say goodbye to dad Peter Barlow (Chris Gascoyne) during the holidays, is going to have an emotional few months. We’ll have to wait and see.

After 23 years, actor Chris has decided to leave the Street in an effort to pursue other chances, therefore Peter is leaving after 23 years.

However, when the automobile crashes, things take a terrible turn (Image: Zenpix / MCPIX).

“Peter starts getting the postcards and the letters from his pal on the boat urging him to go and join him, she starts to realize that he’s extremely eager,” Alison King, who portrays Carla Connor, said while discussing what happens before Peter leaves.

It’s the first time something has diverted his attention from the situation in a long time.

She blatantly declines his invitation to accompany him as she needs to focus on getting the plant back up and running.

And I believe it’s from him that she realizes they have different goals and that he’s fighting for the company. It’s dawning on her that she cannot. She begins to feel depressed and is content to continue living on her own.

And she has a gradually sinking sensation that perhaps it’s time for them to pursue their own interests; we had it, and it was amazing, but perhaps it’s time for that to end.

“She is beginning to feel that he should stay with her and is unaware that he is chatting to Tim.”

Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at 8 p.m. on ITV1 and ITVX are when Coronation Street airs.
