In Monday’s (December 18) episode of Coronation Street, Daisy Midgeley (Charlotte Jordan) attempted to divert her attention following the breakup with Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard).
Daisy’s admission last week that she had slept with Ryan (Ryan Prescott) upended her relationship with Daniel and young Bertie. Daisy has been staying with Jenny (Sally Ann Matthews) at Rita’s (Barbara Knox) apartment ever since the secrets and falsehoods were revealed.
Daisy made the decision to attempt concentrating on creating a new future without Daniel tonight. She wished to assist Jenny in gaining access to Audrey’s (Sue Nicholls) journal, which belonged to Todd Boyce’s character Stephen.
Jenny just discovered that access to a crucial folder required a password after looking through Stephen’s laptop.
She begged Audrey if she might go through the journal, but the adored figure wouldn’t give it up because she was having trouble saying goodbye to Stephen.
Daisy snuck into the Platt home tonight, knowing the family was having a meeting at the Bistro, because she seemed to have nothing to lose.
Sam (Jude Riordan) was pushing his family to compliment one another in the hopes of bringing them back together as she looked for Stephen’s notebook.
But when Audrey’s turn came, she hurried home since she couldn’t talk to her family without Stephen present.
Daisy was compelled to hide upstairs when she got there.
Daisy managed to escape unnoticed, but Jenny contacted her and informed her that Carla would actually be the rightful owner of the money even if Daisy managed to obtain it.
Daisy took advantage of Stephen’s laptop that evening and went through his pilfered journal in an attempt to figure out the password for the folder.
Daisy was pleasantly surprised to discover the substantial amount of money in the bank account after successfully gaining access.
What will Daisy do next, though?
Will she take Jenny’s advice and give Carla the money, or will she use it to reclaim the pub?
