EastEnders Christmas spoilers: Sharon’s shocking admission left Phil speechless

It’s quite private. (Image: BBC)

Ever since the couple announced their engagement, Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean) and Keanu Taylor (Danny Walters) have been headed for a disastrous wedding day on EastEnders.

Two mainstays of soap operas, secrets and lies, frequently put Sharon and Keanu’s relationship to the test. As of right now, Sharon is still unaware that Keanu was also engaged in Albie’s kidnapping; instead, the well-known character believes Karen Taylor (Lorraine Stanley) was the only one who planned it.

If Keanu ever finds out about Sharon’s secret, she believes it will drastically alter his life.

A few weeks ago, Sharon learned that Phil (Steve McFadden), not Keanu, is Albie’s biological father after some medical testing.

On Christmas Day, Sharon is constantly thinking about this realization as she tries to hide her shame while preparing for her and Keanu’s wedding.

But just as Sharon and Keanu are ready to exchange vows, Phil interrupts and reveals that Keanu was also responsible for Albie’s kidnapping.

The congregation and Sharon are clearly shocked by the turn of events, but attention soon shifts to Phil and Keanu, who are shocked when Sharon shares some news herself.

However, what is it?

Is this related to Phil being Albie’s father?

Following this, Kathy (Gillian Taylforth) and Denise (Diane Parish), as well as Sharon and Linda (Kellie Bright), hastily leave the church, eager to get away from Jack (Scott Maslen) and Rocky (Brian Conley).

As they all attempt to make sense of the day’s events, Denise, Kathy, Linda (Kellie Bright), Sharon, Stacey (Lacey Turner), and Suki (Balvinder Sopal) find comfort in the Vic.

But when one Walford man meets his end that evening, their lives are soon altered irrevocably.
