The dramatic Christmas Day episode of Emmerdale will be followed by a Boxing Day episode tonight, December 26, which is expected to continue the aftermath.

Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins), who shot Damon Harris (Robert Beck) during an argument while attempting to save Mack Boyd (Lawrence Robb), is not having a happy Christmas.

Just as Damon was ready to shoot Mack, Charity realized she had been following him and Chloe Harris (Jessie Elland) to an abandoned factory. They eventually located Mack.

She grappled with him for the pistol, desperate to rescue her love, but just as a shot was fired, it became clear that Charity had pushed the trigger.

Will Charity’s situation worsen or will Damon survive her attack?

In another scene, Moira Barton (Natalie J Robb) confronts Caleb Milligan and Tracy Metcalfe (William Ash and Amy Walsh) after she caught them in the act. However, will Moira be the only person to learn about their relationship during the holiday season?

After her first effort didn’t exactly work out as planned, Belle Dingle (Eden Taylor-Draper) takes Chas Dingle’s (Lucy Pargeter) advise into consideration and decides to try again with her proposal to Tom King (James Chase).

She makes up her mind to go ahead and execute it, but her plan is derailed when Sam Dingle (James Hooton) interrupts and snatches her away as a birthday surprise.

At Mulberry Cottage, Jai (Chris Bisson), Laurel Thomas (Charlotte Bellamy), and the children are getting used to Christmas with Amit and Suni Sharma (Anil Goutam and Brahmdeo Shannon Ramana).

When they have some time to themselves, Suni begs Amit to tell where he was on the day that Rishi died, but how will Amit respond?
