Lisa George, a Coronation Street star, and a former soap opera great got back together four years after their breakup.
The 51-year-old actress Beth Tinker posted a sweet photo with her on-screen niece Katie McGlynn, who portrayed Sinead Tinker in the ITV serial opera.
Recently, Katie played the Fairy Godmother in a pantomime production of Cinderella, and Aunty Beth was present to support her.
In the Instagram Story photo, Lisa is seen grinning broadly with Katie, who was decked up for her role in a fairy tale.
“Had a lovely time catching up with this beauty,” she wrote.
From 2013 to 2020, Katie portrayed Sinead in Coronation Street.
She later returned to Hollyoaks, where she spent a year portraying the cunning Becky Quentin.
Alongside Gorka Marquez, the soap star participated in the 2021 season of Strictly Come Dancing.
Regarding Lisa, after nearly 13 years on the program, it was purportedly stated that she will be leaving her role as Beth.
Since making her big screen debut in 2011, Beth has been a part of several major plots, and her romance with Andy Whyment’s character Kirk Sutherland has won over many admirers.
After the visit of her ex-boyfriend Marco, which led to a temporary breakup for the cherished pair, Beth has had a difficult year.
Now that The Sun is reporting that Lisa George will be leaving her role as Beth, their future appears to be in doubt once more.
A insider told the publication, “Lisa has been on Corrie for a long time and she’s had some terrific stories.”
With her comedic moments, she has solidified her place in the hearts of fans, but her tragic storylines, such as Sinead’s passing, have left viewers in tears.
“She believes that it’s time to move on and take on new challenges, even though she loves Corrie with all of her heart.”
